It was an honor to be recognized by the Governor’s Workforce Board as one of several recipients of the 2024 Employer Champion Awards.
David, a member of our kitchen staff, is an exemplary employee and extremely hard-working. While David is hearing impaired, this does not hinder his work ethic nor his ability to connect with others. Each day he teaches his fellow employees valuable skills, including patience, time management, and better communication, skills any dedicated employee should demonstrate.
While the award recognizes the Little Sisters of the Poor, it is David who should be the awardee. How blessed are we that David has chosen to be a member of our team.
