LITTLE SISTERS of the POOR
16th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Dinner & Fundraiser

The Old Grist Mill Tavern has hosted the Little Sisters of the Poor St. Patrick’s Day Dinner & Fundraiser for more than a decade. Along with the collaboration of a multitude of vendors, dedicated volunteers, and generous benefactors, the event continues to be a success. We are grateful to all who help preserve the tradition.

Greg and Sue Esmay hosted the event for more than a dozen years and new owner, Karl Pelletier of Red Oak Hospitality, agreed to continue the tradition, along with Greg and Sue who continue to help us organize the event even in retirement. In addition to generous vendors and hardworking restaurant staff, we are also very grateful to dependable volunteers from our Home and the Navigant Credit Union VForce. These helping hands register 1000+ guests, assist in the kitchen and dining room, and distribute more than 2000 scones!

We are grateful for the company of Little Sisters from our Home in Enfield, CT, and also most grateful to our friends and benefactors who could not attend. Thank you for your encouraging letters, generous donations, and Pot of Gold participation, all help to make the day a success! May God bless you all for your generous support of our mission. We hope to see everyone again next year!
